We are recruiting for a Senior Blasting Technician on behalf of our client, where you’ll provide technical support and conduct blast performance assessments to ensure optimal results. If you're passionate about safety, compliance, and improving blast quality, this is the opportunity for you!

Key responsibilities include:

• Offering technical support and advice on the quality of drilled holes and conducting blast performance assessments using tools such as VOD, vibrations, and videography.
• Assisting with training and risk management documentation and promoting compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Conducting blast quality reviews, analyzing results using databases, instrumentation, and blasting software.
• Writing detailed feedback reports.

Requirements:

• Blasting Assistants Certificate and a Blasting Ticket.
• 2 years of experience in surface blasting.
• AET and AET Advanced training is advantageous
