We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Socio-Economic Development (SED) Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping South Africa's energy and development landscape. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, offering insight and expertise in the developmental aspects of economic transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic advisory on the Socio-Economic Development and Enterprise Development aspects 
• Facilitate and oversee the developmental impact of the programme, offering guidance on its long-term direction
• Engage with key stakeholders in the energy supply chain to showcase achievements and contribute to poverty alleviation
• Partner with various developmental institutions to promote inclusive growth and drive the empowerment agenda

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Post-graduate degree in energy and development, sustainable development, or development economics
• Minimum 8 years' experience in social and human development sectors, including experience in development work at a national or international level
• Expertise in Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) and gender dimensions of economic development
