Our client is looking for a SHERQ Manager to lead the implementation of their safety, health, environment, risk and quality strategies across multiple operational sites. If you have a passion for safety and a proven track record in SHERQ management, this could be your next big career move!

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor SHERQ Management Systems, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement
• Drive safety performance metrics and manage SHERQ programs to align with company objectives
• Maintain ISO accreditations and ensure compliance with SHERQ-related legislation
• Identify risks, prevent incidents, and develop occupational wellness programs to ensure zero harm
• Mentor and develop SHERQ Officers and employees, embedding a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering / Chemistry / Safety or equivalent
• 5+ Years of SHERQ management experience in a mining/explosives environment
• Expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001
• Process Safety Certificate required
