Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and oversee necessary repairs, servicing, and routine maintenance of vehicles.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and advice to customers and internal teams regarding vehicle performance, mechanical issues, and maintenance procedures.
• Documentation: Accurately document all inspections, findings, and maintenance activities in the company’s system, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding vehicle inspections and maintenance issues, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, offering effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maximum vehicle performance.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all fleet vehicles adhere to legal and regulatory standards, including roadworthiness, emissions, and safety regulations.
• Data Analysis: Analyze inspection data and reports to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement within the fleet management process.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to and promote health and safety standards during all inspection and maintenance activities.

Key Requirements:

• Mechanical/Automotive Red Seal Qualification (mandatory)
• Proven experience in a technical or mechanical role, preferably within the automotive or fleet management industry
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer systems
• Ability to speak clearly and effectively
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
