An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the technical and managerial aspects of a bustling retail centre. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with a blend of technical expertise and managerial acumen, ready to ensure seamless operations and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance strategies in collaboration with Centre and Regional Facility Managers
• Implement life cycle planning and maintenance schedules for 3,5, and 10-year periods
• Maintain an accurate asset register and ensure effective asset control
• Introduce and manage energy-saving programs and sustainability initiatives
• Contribute to service level agreements for service providers and work with the Procurement team
• Ensure compliance with all building and statutory regulations
• Address and resolve technical, operational, and building-related complaints promptly
• Manage tenant relationships, including installations and budgetary control
• Conduct various inspections, including technical and service contract assessments
• Oversee staff activities, implementing schedules and utilising performance management systems
• Monitor and control both "hard" and "soft" services, ensuring quality and budget adherence
• Prepare technical and financial reports, staying current with industry trends
• Manage procurement of goods and services efficiently

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma
• 3-5 Years experience in property or the building environment
• Experience in shopping centre or retail facility management is a plus
